What is a missionary guest home?

A guest home is very similar to a hotel, but is specifically designed to host church teams, visitors, and guests that have projects on the mission field.

What accommodations does our Guest House have?

Our guest house can accommodate up to 34 people at a time.  The house has 24/7 security, electricity, and purified water for bathing, eating and drinking!  We also provide breakfast and dinner for each team or individual that stay with us. There is one bunk room for men and one bunk room for women, each with their own bathroom.

Where is our guest house located?

Our guest house is located in Jacmel, Haiti.

What is the cost?

The cost varies depending on the type of group that is coming and what other accommodations the group may need such as trip planning, transportation, and translators.  Please contact us for more information.

Here is what some of our guests have said:

“Once we arrived at the guest house, I was immediately impressed with the facilities. The home was clean and comfortable. I did not feel unsafe at any point while staying at the home. I was glad to have electricity, Wi-Fi internet, running water, working sewage, clean water, and functional showers. The beds were quite comfortable as well.” -Short Term Missionary from Madison, Indiana

“Our living conditions at the guest house for the week were beyond what I expected. It was comfortable and it totally felt like home to me. Yes, the heat was uncomfortable but it was not unbearable. I felt completely safe, while we were at the house, while at the orphanage, or while we were at any of the other locations in Jacmel. I definitely would say that a couple of the pros from the trip were the guest house and the awesome sense of security.” – Short Term Missionary
