To sponsor a child, we require a minimum monthly donation of $40.00 per month. This amount helps cover the food, clothing, shelter, medical, and education expenses associated with providing a loving and nurturing home for the girls of Faith House.

Celena was living with a relative prior to coming to Faith House. Her relative turned her into a house slave (restavec), where she was forced to take on the responsibility of all the heavy-duty labor since she was 5 years old. Upon arrival she had many visible injuries. We were told that her caretaker would use kitchen knives and cut her for no reason. One day her caretaker placed her hand over  burning charcoal and gave her 1st and 2nd degree burns. She was abused and repeatedly beaten in the home. Social services got involved and removed Celena from the home and placed her in the custody of Faith House.
